• Prints, slides and digital images entered during the past competition year (Jan - Dec)
• Images must be entered in the same category as during the year
• Official record of all entries during this competition year - see below, for each media type
  • Prints: sorted by Name & Category - List
  • Slides: to be sent directly to participants by the Slide Chair by mid-December of the competition year. If you have not received your list by Dec 25 contact him/her (email link at bottom of this page).
  • Digital images: Check the online procedure below, under Preparation of Entries
• Images that have been entered in more than one medium (e.g., slide or digital -> print) during the year - can enter only one version of that image in the annual composition
  
• Limit on the number of entries per category:
  • SLIDES - 6
  • PRINTS - 3
  • DIGITAL - 3

• With each set of slides (in a box) or prints (in a portfolio or box) include a list showing the full title (for Nature, Latin names are optional), and category (Use this PDF ENTRY FORM). Make extra copies for yourself.
• To ensure return of your clear plastic print envelopes, write your name or initials in one corner
• Place a label on the outside of the slide or print image container showing your name
• For DIGITAL entries, members can do this online, as follows:
  • go to the digital upload page and log in
  • click on the button labeled "My 2007 Entries" to see your entries
  • from the far right column choose which images (total of 3 per category) you'd like included in the Annual Competition (As mentioned above under Eligibility, images must remain in the same category in which they were originally entered, as shown on the list..)
  • Then go to the bottom of that page and click on the link entitled "Submit Your Changes".
  • The selection of images may be changed up until 10 pm on Jan 11.

• For slides and prints verify that entries on your form are all present on the official list of entries
• For images entered as both Prints and Digital during the year, make sure that the image has been entered in only ONE of these categories for the Annual Competition

SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

• To respective print & slide chairs (digital images are entered via the digital upload page, as described above)
• DEADLINE for slides and prints - last image competition evening in January (Jan 9, 2008). As stated above the digital deadline is Jan 11.

RETURN OF ENTRIES - After the Awards Evening (last Wed. in February)
