All announcements and photography-related news of interest is sent from our Yahoo PACamera Group at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/PACamera/ (open to paid members only).

In order to receive such emails you must join this group. Our welcome letter to new members mentions this, and periodically we remind all members of it (using a separate address list).

In spite of this, we often learn of members (new and old) who are not receiving these emails, and are unaware of the requirement to join.

If you have not received any of the messages sent from the Yahoo Group (identified in the Subject line with the prefix '[PACamera]') in the last few days or so (or ever), it's clear you have either not joined the group, or joined but chose the 'No Email' option for Email Delivery.

So, if you are one of these persons and wish to receive club email, join now. The instructions are in item #25 of our FAQ page at http://www.pacamera.com/faqs.html. Remember, the Yahoo mail contains much more than what's on the home page of our main website. Once you join, you'll know what you've been missing.

Bear in mind that the Yahoo PACamera Group website has uses in addition to announcements, including:

• the ability to search past messages in the Messages section (helpful to check before posting an question)
• the ability to post messages, including pleas for help

Each of the above can be done by entering one of the red circled areas ("Search" or "Start Topic") at the top of the Messages page (screen shot below).

Two final points:

• You can post items to the PACamera Group directly from your email application by adding the group's address to your Address Book/Contacts List. Here's the address: PACamera@yahoogroups.com
• If you prefer to have group email delivered as a Daily Digest (group) rather than individually as the messages are posted, go to the Members area, click the link at the top left entitled 'Edit Membership', scroll down to Step 2 entitled 'Message Delivery', and select 'Daily DIgest' rather than 'Individual Emails'.
