Big Basin - A photo nature walk City Life - San Francisco Farmers Market and Neighborhoods |
Coordinator: Dan Quinn Description: A nature photo walk at beautiful Big Basin State park with Dan Quinn and Scott Peden.Join the PACC in a photo walk in Big Basin State park. We'll work in the Slippery Rock/Sempervirens Falls area. Photographic opportunities include flowers, macro, birds, waterfall, and redwood landscapes. We'll do about a 3/4 of a mile walk (more if you want it!), taking our time to discover the flowers, mushrooms, patterns, and redwoods.
Note: Heavy rain will cancel. In the case of light rain, we'll make a decision by Saturday at noon and send you a go/no go via email.

Coordinator: Hilari Hardin Description: Head up to the iconic city of San Francisco with the Palo Alto Camera Club to translate urban life into your photographic vision.We'll start at the San Francisco Ferry building's Saturday farmers market, where food from all over the region is brought to sell. From there we'll work our way up the Embarcadero viewing waterfront life and then into the San Francisco neighborhoods of North Beach and Chinatown. Be sure to wear your best walking shoes as we'll be covering a lot of ground. Location: San Francisco Ferry Building
