"Using the DIgital Camera Histogram"
Better than looking at the image to judge exposure in cameras

Digital photography should not be prelude to “fix it later in Photoshop”. Looking thru the eyes of the first masters of light in painting & photography, member Chris Golson will discuss the technical controls available on today's dSLRs. He will concentrate on the one tool available on the dSLR which clearly distinguishes it from film cameras (and it is not the LCD picture monitor on the back of the camera).

What is it? It is the histogram. This tool, rather than the thumbnail image on the LCD, can tell you more about the shot than any other camera feedback. Chris will show how this tonality tool can help you take the best exposures possible.
