by member Edward Nunez

"I will be talking about Photoshop, and techniques I use to process my landscape images.

I'll focus on enhancing the image and extending the dynamic range of what was captured, but not address the creative manipulation of images as such.

Topics I will cover include:

  • Basic tools: Selection, healing brush, clone stamp, curves, levels
  • Layers & Masks
    - General uses: non-destructive Dodge & Burn, Color Cast removal, sky contrast, simple web sharpening
  • Manual blending of images
  • Luminosity Masks: Definition and usage with curves adjustments layers; advanced uses for blending, and for increasing local contrast
  • Edit workflow scenarios, including both basic image edit, and advanced editing with blending."
