In September and October, our fourth Wednesday program evenings will  
feature slide shows.

Last summer's member slide show night was very popular, and many members requested both an educational evening on how  to create photo slideshows and also another opportunity to share members' creative work. Hence the September and October programs this year.

Our September 22 program will feature a panel of experienced members sharing their slide show expertise and work. The panel will be anchored by Philippe Cailloux, who will offer his "Top Ten Considerations When Authoring a Slide Show," featuring a PowerPoint presentation and examples. Additional panelists will demonstrate the basics of various slide show software for both PC and Mac.

A month after this "How-To" evening, at our October 27 program, members will have a chance to demonstrate what they have learned in our second annual "Member Slide Show Night." If  you would like to share a slide show, please let me know by Oct 20. Preference will be given to those members who did not present a slide show last summer, and the total number will be limited to allow sufficient time to enjoy and discuss each show.
