"I wanted to become a photographer when, at age 15, I worked hard to buy my first camera, a French box camera. However, my parents had different ideas and there was no questioning at that time. I ended up being a university professor and a medical researcher. Photography almost disappeared from my life until a few years ago. I now photograph what is pleasant to my eyes and brings emotion to my heart, be it a landscape, a flower or a tree, a building or a rock, a river or a beach - even something that is abstract. If what I see pleases my eyes, makes my heart pump a bit faster and my body feel a little lighter, I want to photograph it and record my feelings at that moment."
