The Summer 2025 newsletter from Avenidas Senior Living Center includes an article about photography exhibitions at the Rose Kleiner Center, organized by PACC’s Exhibit Coordinator, Jim Colton: Through Photography, Bringing the World to Avenidas Rose Kleiner Center. Thanks to Jim, members have been displaying their framed prints at the Rose Kleiner Center for several years. Our club has gotten high praise for brightening the days of clients and staff members alike by displaying appropriate high quality art. Member Judy Kramer established a relationship with the Center and was the first to display some of her prints at the Center. Jimcoordinates between PACC and the Center and ensures that prints are always on display. Currently, the following members are showing prints at the Rose Kleiner Center: Judy Kramer, Ken Fowkes, Chris Steven-Yu, JimColton, Nadine Levin, Peche Turner, Lenore Poreira, and Susan Harding.
The article also includes Jim’s method for arranging artwork on walls – good-looking exhibitions do not happen by chance!
Avenidas is a community-based nonprofit organization that helps older adults be as active, engaged, and healthy as possible. The Rose Kleiner Center provides professional, friendly, compassionate daytime care and health support for older adults who have cognitive and/or physical challenges.
