Two images by Nadine Levin were among 30 images selected by Laurie Freitag, Founder and Director of L.A. Photo Curator, as Top Images of the Year for 2025. They were selected from the images submitted and juried in the four calls for entry during 2025. Each call has a different theme. Silence was taken in the Scottish Highlands in summer, 2025, and whispers serenity. Escaping to a Skyline in the Clouds was taken in London, also in summer, 2025. This image was made during a photography workshop lead by Jonathan Vaines and Deborah Loeb Bohren, and was created using in-camera multiple exposure.

L.A. Photo Curator has two missions: to promote emerging photographers and to fund great causes. L.A. Photo Curator holds photography competitions that provide an opportunity for monthly winners to be reviewed by one or more contributing curators, as well as to help those in need by donating a portion of artist fees to the charity of the curator and first place winner’s choices.
