Facing My Fears, by Nadine Levin, is one of 45 images selected for inclusion in the online portion of the 2026 Members’ Juried Exhibition at the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel. The juror was Rebecca Senf, Chief Curator at the Center of Creative Photography at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Of more than 2300 images that were submitted from photographers around the world, forty-five were selected for exhibition in the gallery and on the website. An additional 45 images were selected for the online gallery. All ninety images will be published in a catalog. The exhibition will run from March 28 through May 9. The opening reception and announcement of juror awards will take place on Saturday, March 28, 4 to 6 pm. Images will be on view on CPA’s website beginning on March 28.

Nadine Levin: Facing My Fears
Facing My Fears is an image in Nadine’s ongoing personal narrative project that couples self-portraits with non-representational images to depict a feeling, a memory, and/or an emotion.
The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) was founded in 1988 to carry on the traditions of the Friends of Photography, established in 1967 by Ansel Adams, Cole and Brett Weston, Wynn Bullock, Nancy and Beaumont Newhall. Its mission is to increase understanding of and respect for photography and its important role in contemporary culture.
