Chris Stevens-Yu Wins in Two Categories of the 2023 Peninsula Photo Contest

Ellen Gilkerson | Published on 5/13/2023

Images by PACC member Chris Stevens-Yu were First Place winners in the Abstract and Moments categories of the 2023 Peninsula Photo Contest.

Chris’ image, Take Flight, was the winner in the Abstract category:  This is my muse building, the MIRA SF in San Francisco.  The way the structure looked from this angle gives a feeling of wings taking flight.

Pigeon Charmer was the winner in the Moments category.  Chris says:  I entered this in my first ever PACC competition and it was awarded an HM by Ben Long.  This year I decided to rework it from the original file and re-enter.  I’m glad I did as I think the more refined/restrained edit helped bring the image to the place it belonged.
