Diptychs by Brandon Stauffer and Suszi McFadden Selected by the O’Hanlon Center

Ellen Gilkerson | Published on 7/22/2023

What a team!  Two collaborative diptychs by PACC members Brandon Stauffer and Suszi Lurie McFadden have been selected for inclusion in the online gallery show, Working Together:  Collaborative Art, by the O’Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley.  The call for entry notes that artists working together can create a work completely different from what each would make working alone.  It harnesses the experiences and skills of each person taking part to give meaning and creative expression to the project – a symbiosis that results in a new type of work entirely.  The juror was Joe Brubaker, a sculptor whose work ranges from wood carvings to found-object-assembled sculptures, and founder of The Exquisite Garden Project.

Brandon and Suszi’s diptychs are part of HumanEssence, their ongoing collaboration creating diptychs and triptychs consisting of complementary portraits and abstracts.
